'A Stateless Dialogue: Those Affected & Those in Power' with Institute on Statelessness & Inclusion
This meeting saw the convening a six-person panel, in which three stateless activists engaged in dialogue with three representatives from the UN/donor/NGO/diplomatic worlds. During the session, each activist targeted their intervention towards one respondent on the panel, who was asked to acknowledge and respond to concerns regarding problematic behaviours, practices or discourses characteristic of their respective sector and share examples of good practices.
This session involved panelists Karina Ambartsoumian-Clough (Executive Director of United Stateless (USL)), Joanne Kelsey (Associate Protection Officer at UNHCR), Bina Ramanand (Lead Coordinator at Family Frontiers), Tracey Gurd (Senior Director of Civil and Political Rights and Advocacy at American Jewish World Service), Laetitia van den Assum (Diplomatic eExpert), and Nay San Lwin (Co-founder of Free Rohingya Coalition).
